Thanks again for prayers for me and my loved ones.
Please continue to pray for an improvement in my health, and that my nephew and his cats will find a good place to live. Please pray that my nephew will not become estranged from his mother, my sister. I don't remember details, but I know they didn't speak for a long time-- I think years. My sister says he has a mental illness. I hope she will realize that "tough love" isn't a good approach to a person who is not capable of meeting her expectations.

Hi Margarita. I pray for you and your nephew regularly. Your nephew's large number of cats may indicate he has some type of mental illness. When we allow 'anything' to interfere with normal daily living, we need to see it as possibly being problematic. His inability to find housing because of the large number of cats is a good example. He obviously loves cats, but does he have the means to take care of them properly? Has he had them spayed/neutered? If not, then he really isn't helping them. He's actually creating a bigger problem. But I agree that "tough love" doesn't work on someone with mental or emotional issues. Your nephew needs professional counseling to help him understand why he has an obsession with cats. Having more than 3 (maybe 4) cats is concerning, as it would create hardships for both the caretaker and the cats (unless you are VERY rich). I will continue to pray for you and your nephew (and your sister). I hope you can get your nephew and the cats some help. God bless you.
