Hi Ruby. I also understand how you feel. I've been reading the Bible since 1985. I've read different versions and found I tend to stick with the NIV Study Bible. It puts the Bible in easy-to-understand English and explains many verses. As Melissa and another person suggested, there are audio apps you can download. and are also available on websites if you use a laptop or desktop computer. Although I've been reading the Bible since 1985, it seems every time I read it, I learn something new that I didn't see or understand before. Good luck. You will find one that is best for you--or, I should say--that God will help you find the right one for you.

I've felt that way before too. I've found the Holy Bible app very helpful with so many plans and the daily scripture reminder. As for a Bible that is easier to understand I've found the NIV or NLT versions to be easiest for me. You could look up a few scriptures and search different versions to see which ones make sense to you. I also like having a Women's Daily Devotional book, it has different scriptures daily and after reading it I follow up with reading further in the Bible for the scriptures mentioned. Best of luck 🙏🏻.
