I'm asking for prayer, I have very bad back pain with tingling and pain down my legs. I'm very afraid this could be the same terminal disease that my brother died from 10 years ago. Please pray that it is something else. Thank you

Hi Colleen. Did you injure your back in the past? I deal with the same symptoms. Many different problems can cause these symptoms. I have 4 bulging discs in my lower back along with stenosis, spondylolisthesis, and extensive arthritis. All 3 can cause the pain and neuropathy that goes into my leg and foot, so I'm not sure which condition is causing it. Please don't panic yet. Are you scheduled for any tests? Please get checked out ASAP, not only for pain relief, but to ease your mind and learn exactly what's causing your symptoms.
Thank you Gina. I've had pain in my back off and on for years but not to this extent. I was doing some gardening a couple of weeks ago and woke up in pain. It has gotten progressively worse. Now with pain and tingling down my left leg and pain in my right leg. My Brother's ALS was sporadic they think which means it doesn't run in families. No one else has had it that we know of. His may have been brought on by his exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. He really suffered.
I am planning seeing my Doctor. Thank you for your prayers and concern
