Been sad at the prospect of spending Thanksgiving alone again. My family has fallen apart. My work schedule makes me unavailable for other’s gatherings. I vented to a friend in another state who wouldn’t feel obligated to invite me, and she chewed me out for not going to the homeless shelter. So, my prospect for this Thanksgiving? Alone at work in a booth. So, my prayer request? Something to fill the loneliness?
