Could you perhaps be making mistakes at work because of the anxiety and pressure you feel? If so, something that helps me is thinking about the worst that can happen. In your case, the worst would probably be losing your job. If you don't love your job, maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing. You may find a better job. Maybe you can start looking while you are still at your current job. But even if you lose your job, trust that the Lord will get you through until you find a job that will make you happier. Even if you have to take a part-time job over the Holidays while you are looking for a better one, you may find that you enjoy it even more than what you're doing now. Maybe God is trying to lead you somewhere else? Just trust Him. You've probably been through even tougher times before and you made it through. So, no matter what happens, you'll get through with God's help again. Just remind yourself of this when anxiety sets in. I will be praying for you.
Hello, I am going to give you some advice on what have learned that has helped me personally after having anxiety, panic attacks, depression for big part of my life. Here is a short list of different various techniques that has helped me, and may most definitely help you.
Recite Our Father Prayer. Read the Bible. Pray.
Cast your burdens upon the Lord.
See someone you can trust that you can talk to like God about your problems. Forgive yourself and others for wrong doings. Face your traumas, fears and get over them.
I would avoid meds if you are able but they do help.
Keep your mind clear of any negative thoughts, try to gravitate towards thoughts that make you happy. I found it beneficial to replace them with with 3 positive ones in your mind each time you get hit. Keep a positive mindset at all times.
Meditation is crucial.
Take 2 quick inhales through nose and one slow fairly long exhale through mouth. By doing this you regulate the nervous system, is very effective, will keep the anxiety at bay.
Stay calm. When you get hit with anxiety find what gives you comfort. What helps you to calm down? Personally relaxes me to go for walks in nature and or listen to positive music. I love to dance.
Workout. Eat healthy.
Really if you are alone by yourself just face it, let that anxiety flow, stop resisting even if it makes you cry. Crying is good.
True happiness comes from within. Smile, Laugh. 😁
I wish you the best in life, & I love you.
God Bless
