The person who wrote the lyrics was in prison - drugs, alcohol, prostitution and murder if I remember her story correctly and she too in her darkest hour thought taking her life was the answer. She fell to her knees begging GOD to hear her pleas and this song poured out. Her words ring true for so many situations. Trust and believe that GOD CAN and WILL deliver you through this darkness and never forget...JOY ALWAYS COMES IN THE MORNING.
