I need prayer and guidence for decision I have to make about my future in the next few weeks

I need prayer for stregnth so I can press pass some things that have been weighing me down. I always go out of my way to help people yet I'm often talked about and laughed at for being "stupid enough to fall for it". I believe that God has given me a special gift of being a person who loves helping people. With the experiences I have had in the past few months, I find myself wanting to become hard hearted to block the pain from being hurt but I just can't bring myself to do it.
