Deborah Commented on Deborah Zuniga's story:

Wow! I must say wow! What a wonderful experience. I was drawn to read your article because yesterday we celebrated my Daddy's 75th birthday. (He was born exactly 5 months after his Daddy stormed Normandy Beach fighting for our freedoms.) His fiancee had told us where she planned to take him for dinner and we surprised him my sister and brother-in-law driving 2 1/2 hours and I was less than an hour away. We had a special time together about 3 hours that we will cherish that will not compare with yours, though it too feeds our Soul. My Sister and I were on opposite sides of our Momma when she passed away 5 1/2 years ago, were blessed to be there, but did not witness a ball of light, just a true sense of Peace and not one sense of abandonment. All of us girls had been there with her, one sister napping on the other end of the Nursing Home, we know she went to Heaven, just as much as you two knew your Daddy went to Our Final Home in Heaven. Reading your special memory is an ethereal, eternal and sheer glory that only those that were there can truly fathom. But the Dear LORD works in mysterious ways and I just wanted to share with you how touched I am as I sit here eating a blend of sunflower seeds, raisins and you guessed it Peanuts. Life is not as random as one might seem to see. GOD has a plan for each and every one of us. I trust you will see your daddy again as much as I can recall the pure joy in my father's eyes yesterday. As much as I know I will see that pure delight in the eyes of my Mother's and Grandmother's eyes again on my glorious day if I am also blessed to be called Home for Eternity.
