Prayer Warriors,

I just received a phone call from a friend, and he was on the verge of just completely breaking down. He's 30 and doesn't have the best background (drug related) due to hanging out with the wrong crowd. He has completely broken away from them and has been trying to get back on the right track, including getting back to the church and God. Unfortunately, things just haven't been working out for him. He was trying to start a landscaping business, but the heat and drought have made things even harder. He is married but she doesn't work (not sure why) and they have 1 car. When I asked him what I could do to help his answer was "Just prayers. I'm completely at the bottom and just so scared of losing everything." He really is a good guy and I just wish he could catch a break. He is close to my daughters age so I can see similarities, and it just breaks my heart.

Dear Lord, please look down upon JT and have mercy. Give him the strength and courage to keep pushing forward. "For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world."
