I am in the last several days of studying for a huge, high stakes, professional exam (NCLEX). I have moved my exam dates 3 times due to impending doom and anxiety. This is due to me failing it a couple of months ago which left me defeated, discouraged, and depressed. I have been steadily working hard to learn and retain information, but much to my dismay, low practice scores have shattered my confidence at times bringing in anxiety and worry into my life. I took alternative routes to mental and emotional pain relief such as alcohol and other drugs, which I am not proud of. I stopped that recently and new outlook on life. Please pray for me as I take on this huge task of taking this exam. And furthermore to recover from substance abuse which has been result of recent failures.
