In May of 2007 a little boy was placed in my custody by his young father who was ready to be a father and because none of his biological family members wanted the responsibilty of caring for him. He was 6 months when i got him; he is 3 years old now. His birthmother abandoned him shortly after his delivery and has had no contact with him since. He tested positive for drugs when he was born and as a result experiences developmental challenges as well as a few medical issues. His mother left the hospital without giving him name but the nurses named him Joshua. Although his dad changed his name to Tristin, I still call him Joshua because he characteristic of Joshua in the bible. I love this little boy as if he were my own. He and I have been through so much together and now his biological grandmother is challenging me in court for guardianship. she had the opportunity to care for him in the beginning but chose not to.please pray with me, for me and stand in agreement with me that Joshua remains in my care. I spent all of my savings and retirement monies paying for attorneys to help me fight to keep this little boy. even though i am not blood related to him, i am his mommy. thanks to all who will lift us up in prayer.
