Prayer Request
I ask the Lord to help my daughter in law and new grandchild with nursing. He is not doing well nursing and is jaundiced. She is getting stressed by it all. I beg that she relaxes and the baby does better.

Please keep telling her that her stress is causing or further exacerbating the problem by not producing the nutrients her baby needs. I always ask myself in any stressing situation, "What is the worst that can happen?" In this case, she may not be able to breastfeed. That's not the end of the world. Many mothers cannot breastfeed for many different reasons. I was one who had to stop and was devastated. By the time my son was a teenager, he was 6' tall, muscular even now at 50 years old, and has never had any health issues. The important thing is getting the baby the nutrients he needs now--no matter how that comes.
