Please pray for my husband who was injured in an industrial accident on May 18th, 2010. His right foot was completely destroyed, and although the doctor was able to save it instead of amputating it, he still suffers everyday with pain, struggle and balance issues. The company failed to maintain their equipment, and was fined by OSHA, but on May7th, 2013 there is a hearing for my husbands issues. Please pray that he is awarded some compensation for his pain and suffering. In the last 3 years we have lost our home, automobiles, and pride and self esteem over this. I was left to take care of everything inside and outside the home, and as a result, my health has deteriorated also. My husband NEVER missed a day of work, was an excellent employee and would work double shifts for them any time they asked, but now they want everyone to believe that his injuries were his fault! He will continue to have problems with his foot for the rest of his life, and will never be able to return to work..he is only 51 years old now, 48 at the time of the accident. Workers Compensation has taken care of his medical expenses, and he gets a partial disability check (you can't collect both at the same time, they call it "double dipping"), it is still not enough to cover the other bills that have piled up on us, of course no one or institution will give us a loan, so the consequences of his injuries just keep getting worse for us. He deserves some compensation for their negligence, but we do not know if the mediator will see it that way, so please pray tha the mediator is given the wisdom from God to make the right decision in our favor, so that the rest of our lives can be lead in a somewhat normal fashion.
