Heavenly Father, I come before your holy presence in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ,and your only beloved son who made this possible through coming to be crucified on a cross,shed his blood,died,was buried and rose again,for my sins. I stand here today to plead for your mercy and grace to be extended to my neighbors and dear friends,I've come to love as family. I know you are aware he has cancer and been told nothing can be done to help the cancer,as its to far progressed. Father,I am a living because of the miracle you performed in me when doctors said,"no," I now humbly ask you preform a miracle in my friend Jim. Only you hold our future and only you know when our time on earth is over. You watch over our lives. Should it be it is close to the time you've allotted Jim,I then ask you grant Jim and his wife,Janet the grace they need to accept your will as needed,and give them the peace that surpasses all understanding in the days ahead. Give those working with him from Hospice the wisdom they need to help him as he begins this journey through The Valley of The Shadow of Death. More than anything,Heavenly Father,I ask you send people to him he will feel comfortable in sharing his faith with,and he will be certain of the assurance of his salvation. For now,dear Lord,he has breath. I feel with breath there is hope and purpose. May he reach out to you and know you are there as you have promised,and may he feel your presence,then grab hold of your unchanging hand,and hold on tight,as he realizes you will never leave him,nor forsake him. Help his wife to stay strong and grant her the courage she needs to help her husband for whatever his future holds. I know you still do miracles. Should this not be your will for my friend,grant acceptace,and release of her husband to his wife,Janet. Then dear Lord,I pray whatever your answer will be,she will still give you honor,glory in all things,not just some,as I know, and want her to know your answer will be for the best, and work for good for all concerned,according to your will through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Please grant me the strength I need to assist,help,and encourage them,as they think of me as their mother figure. Thank you father for hearing my prayer. To you and you along,I give you all praise.
