Father God,
Please help me through this terrible situation. I’m struggling in my marriage. I am being controlled and I don’t feel like an equal. I’m praying for my husband’s change of heart. I’m praying for guidance, a miracle. Please Lord. I’m scared, sad, and disappointed.

Please contact your local domestic violence agency. They offer free counseling and other services that help you identify your options and find the best one for you. Even if your husband is not hurting you physically, it doesn't mean you are not dealing with abuse. Sometimes the emotional, financial, mental, and verbal abuse is worse than physical abuse. You will feel more empowered after you talk to a counselor at your county DV agency. God bless you.
