Lord, tonight I am hurting.. Someone's recent actions (and words) were so unbelievably hateful and deeply hurtful. I can't stop crying; I never imagined I would bring out that much spitefulness and hate in another human, especially someone I deeply love. I know if this is from the enemy, it still must ultimately pass through Your hands, so I trust that You allowed it to occur for a purpose - and You have a plan to use it for good. I ask that You please speak to me. Heal my heart. Help me stand strong, even though I feel so empty & defeated. As You know, I love this person very, very much, I just don't understand why this happened, and why they reacted (and spoke) the way they did... Father, I ask for Your mercy, forgiveness, clarity, and understanding in all of this. Please help my heart to heal. Thank You for hearing my prayer, Amen.
