Prayer Request
May I please ask for prayers for my 96yo mother who’s currently in hospital fighting for her life.
We don’t know what it is as yet?
We, “The Family”, lost both the youngest cousin from a rare form of lung cancer & then her father only 3wks later.
We postponed my cousins funeral thinking that her dad would get better since his was Omicron Covid related to start with but, what we didn’t know was, that he also had Leukaemia. He hadn’t told a soul, he was being strong for his daughter.
So, we ended up having her funeral on the Monday, then his on the Friday of the same week.
This has had a domino effect with my mother, who’s now battling to stay alive because of the double passing of our cousin and uncle.
She’s always looked after others in the community for over 50yrs and has been a widow for the same amount of time.
PLEASE MAY I ASK ON BEHALF OF MY ENTIRE FAMILY, FOR PRAYERS SO THAT SHE CAN HAVE THE WILL TO KEEP LIVING?
We are all devout Christians and believe that it’s not quite her time to leave this Earth just yet.
Mum is still sharp minded with brilliant cognitive function who loved a stroll every afternoon around the Retirement Village where she lives but, her body seems to be shutting down after the tragic loss of the other family members and she’s unable to hold any food or beverages down.
She’s so dehydrated and extremely fragile at the moment due to no nourishment from any foods.
I pray 🙏🏼 that she’s able to recover from whatever it is that’s stopping her from being able to swallow her food, and that she can recover and start eating again without regurgitating.
Bless all of you who read this to the end and pray for my mum “Gwen”, May God bless you and keep you safe in this new world of horrors.
Please try to find the positive beauty in the magnificent things of God’s beautiful creations, both in his flora and fauna plus, all the little positive things that happen in our lives everyday.
Praise be to our Almighty Father who gives us strength to get through the hard times in life and who loves each and everyone of his children here on Earth.

To have lived for 96 years is quite a blessing. I hope her life was filled with more joy than sorrow, and that she have the peace of the Lord in her soul. I pray that she knows those who have passed before her will be there to greet her when the Lord brings her home. I pray that the family feel the love and peace of the Lord and know that passing from this life to the next will be the greatest journey of all. To be in the presence of the Lord is to be filled with love beyond our comprehension.

Hello David: I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your loved ones, we too had a difficult year in 2017 with passing of family. Your Mother sounds like a very strong lady but is beginning to tire, I will lift her and all of you up in prayer but please know ELohim (God) will give you the strength to cope, if you trust in Him with this most difficult time in your life. She has had many wonderful years given to her by Him, many wonderful memories and happy times no doubt. Read comforting verses from the Word to her and sing songs of praise, she will so enjoy this and it will also strengthen you. May He comfort and surround you all now in His Love and Perfect Shalom, Peace, that surpasses all understanding. Amein!

Pray for The Divine Mercy Chaplet and The Rosary every day beside her. Mother Mary is always there for us. Trust in Jesus' Love and Mercy. Mother Mary, Health of the sick. pray for us. Amen.

Blessings to you David as you and your family go through this very difficult time. As we have prayed this prayer over and over that Jesus taught his disciples to pray...."thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven..." know that God is with you regardless of the outcome of your Mother's stay in the hospital. We pray for healing for her but sometimes God's way of healing her is to promote his precious saints to their home in Glory. If she comes out we say Thank you Lord and if she transitions from earth to glory we still say Thank you Lord because the Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of good and not of evil; to give you an expected end." God knows exactly what he is doing and all he wants us to do is to Trust Him. May you and your family be comforted and strengthened during this time and may the souls of your cousin and uncle rest in eternal peace!! God bless you all.

Mum did pass after only 4 days in hospital.
She wasn’t in any pain, it was quick and peaceful, plus I was there with her when she set off on her journey to be with God and her loved ones whom set off before her.
I’m at peace knowing where she is, and I also know that she and the big fella himself are watching over me.
I’ve only just returned home after spending 4 months away looking after her and then going through mum’s Retirement Cottage sorting everything.
I have a sister who’s not coping very well. We’ve unfortunately never had a close relationship, it’s by no means from me not trying. Even at the wake I pleaded with “Ruth” to allow us to start anew, wipe the slate clean and begged if we could start a new happy fresh chapter as sister and brother.
I thought I’d finally gotten through to her with Ruth nodding her head in agreement. Although she was extremely inebriated at the time. She caused such a commotion and unfortunately made the wake all about her. This was Monday 13th March.
On Easter Sunday she, along with her three adult children barged into mum’s cottage destroying mums lounge and sofa bed, screaming at a friend of mine who was staying with me to make sure I was ok to F off. Then they threatened to come back with a chainsaw to get the sofa bed out the front door.
It’s been nothing but a nightmare since mum passed. My sister hijacked the funeral. I was lucky to put pieces of the puzzle together to work out who the minister was going to be. I’m so blessed I got to talk with him before the service and he allowed me to recite a beautiful poem on the day. Otherwise I would’ve been totally left in the dark.
My sister is out of control at the moment. I truly pray and hope that she’ll stop with these actions of aggression towards me and get back to her faith.
She won’t tell me the name of the solicitor or give me a copy of the Will. I’ve had to organise a time with lawyers to try and find out these details.
Unfortunately, she is executor of the Will. Before mum passed, she asked both my sister and myself if we could please put my name on the papers. My sister refused and mum passed only days later.
It’s an absolute nightmare, it’s so hard being left in the dark when my sister is out of control and has all the power of being the executor of the Will.
Please pray that the good Lord will help my sister realise her mistakes and come back to him.

May God, all almighty Father, and Jesus, His only begotten son, wrap their divine and healing arms around Gwen and all of your family and carry you in this your hour of need. Cradle them in your arms and make them feel safe. In Christ's name may this family find peace and solace in your arms. Help them and console them as they walk this journey of loss. Keep them in the light of your presence and give them the strength and courage to carry on, with the knowledge that life will progress in the most positive way. I was extremely blessed to be there with her when she slipped away to be with the loved ones who have gone before her and to walk the streets of gold with the good Lord.

What a gift to be able to hold her hand until she felt safe that she could leave her human vessel and walk towards the light where she will be young and free again, she looked back at you and smiled with confidence that you would leave a happy life armed with the values she instilled in you to be another warrior in God’s regimen. How proud she is of the man you have become. When we reach divine perfection on earth, our work is done here, we have gone full circle, so we are called home to sit at our Father’s right hand, she is there, smiling down knowing you will continue your journey down the path of life God has set for you.
