greetings family! this is very urgent request for someone that was a major part of my coming to Christ, and that is Bishop Eddie Long! i know that many of you are aware of the allegations against him, and trust me, it was hard for us at New Birth to even fathom, but yet in still, whether he is innocent or guilty, he's still a brother in Christ Jesus! you know many of us wrestle with evil in this flesh day in and day out, n sometimes we cant even believe some of the stuff we allow ourselves to do, but one thing i have learned in life, is that the devil will always ensure that you see your reflection when the evil deed is being done and brought to fruition! Please do not judge my pastor, nor my church, as many of you have already! If you ever came to New Birth you would understand why so many have loved this man and our wonderful church! Megachurches have been under attack for a long time by our government officials simply because the gov't wants the blessings that belong to God, PERIOD!! And the same cup that sits before Bishop Long can easily end up in front of one of us! Dont be no fool! Im not asking for your judgements, im asking my brothers and sisters in christ to pray for another brother that may/may not have entered into temptation, but trust me New Birth is here to stay!!!A pastor alone does not a church make!
