Ask God to take the craving from your heart and mind and he will and please be persistent in your prayers. He did it for me in the name of Jesus, Amen

Dear Lori, you are right we can always trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and in his blessed Mother who was given to us by Jesus when he was dyeing on the cross. Our blessed Mum also tells us to consecrate our children our families to her for protection under her mantle. Addiction is usually a genetic weakness that the diabolical preys upon in people. It was prophesied way back in 1992 in a book The Holy Spirit led me too, that a great evil would come into the world that many of our youth and Adults would be taken by and it has happened. I know because I have 3 beautiful kind loving adult children with beautiful hearts that have also the same problem. I did attend a 12 step program for 8 years for family and friends of people with addiction.People with addiction usually have a high IQ and are usually highly sensitive. They use the drug of choice to drown out past pain and hurts to obtain some peace from what torments them. I was always taught to treat them with the same love you would a cancer patient because addiction is a disease just like cancer. These beautiful souls are treated like the lepers of society and it breaks my heart. People are so cruel in the things they say and do to these people, who are all God's children. Of course that dosent mean we become a crutch for them or pay there bills or do anything that stops them from hitting rock bottom. Instead of money lending we can give food and say prayers for them, and tell them how very much we love them because no-one tells them that. We can remind them of their good qualities because while they are addicted to anything they are constantly hearing the voice of evil telling them how worthless they are and then of course to drown it out they need another hit and so the merry-go-round continues. The best thing you can do is PRAY, this year is the year of St Joseph and he is known as the TERROR of DEMONS. Also look up the ST Michael the Arkangel prayer, he cast Lucifer out of Heaven. I pray the Holy Rosary for my children everyday as well as the prayers I mentioned. Just 2 weeks ago I bought a Miraculous medal and had it blest in the old rite by a priest and within 24hrs she took herself to the hospital and asked for help. Evil is so much stronger today and people like your brother need many prayers. So glad you reached out for prayer. All God's blessings upon you your brother and loved ones. XO🙏
