Ellen my thoughts and prayers are with you today as I am surprised at the number of people on here that share your problem. I too have a grown daughter who lives out of state and has broken her ties with me for the last 8 or so years. What is wrong with them? They accept my gifts but I never see my Grandkids. I don't understand the fact that my daughter and her family are very involved in a non-denomination Christian church and she was counseled by their minister to break ties with me......How Christian is that?????? Prayers for all the suffering parents/grandparents on this site. May the Lord guide us on our journeys in life . AMEN

When God wants you to his attention he sends the people you love most to act in ways you do not understand. Keep praying for your son, forgive him, ask the holy spirit to lead and guide you. God will intervene

I feel your pain. My son hasn't talked to me in almost 10 yrs. And I don't know why.
My daughter don't talk to me because I called her out on some bad things she was doing and now she also holds my grandbaby against me. It hurts and is painful. I pray God turns it around for both of us soon. 🙏🙏

Father God,would you do something about this family being so far apart & if this son is moving away,I pray it is for a good reason.I pray that the mother will have an invitation to spend time with the grandchildren.I had 2 grandchildren I didn't get to spend much time with & now I have 3 greats I don't get to spend any time with so I understand where Ellen is coming from,would you open this door for her to see her grands,I ask this in Christ Jesus name,amen.

Ellen, I can only imagine how you are feeling, I am so sorry! I am praying for your sons to come to realize that they need to change their way, this is so sad! Father surround this family with your love , showing all of them the love they shared together in the past! Praying for you to get some relief from your pain today, my daughter got mad at me 7 years ago, and I now have a 6 year old grandson that I’ve never seen 😥. The pain was unreal, and took me years to get over. I know that one day I will be reunited with them. I believe that God has a much bigger purpose for me now, and even though it hurts, I think God knew I would just live only for weekends with my grandson, instead of living everyday for him. And, I would have given up my life , living only for the weekends. I think God is preparing me to be a better grandparent to an older grandson 🙏. God knows what he is doing 👍🙏🙏

Ellen, Continual prayers going up for your entire family. Ellen, I have a daughter that divorced her husband, left her kids with her ex and sees her kids every other weekend. She moved an hour away! I know how you feel as I went through a hard time with her children due to my daughter leaving them. She is with her kids every other weekend

Prayers for you and your family, Ellen. Our family is going through the same situation. my son hasn't spoken to me since July and my husband and I miss our two granddaughters so very much. They live out of state, too.
So we must keep praying that God speaks to their hearts and shows how to forgive and move forward
