We just found out that my mother-in-law, who is 85 years old, has a cancerous tumor in her colon. Her appointment with the surgeon is next week. Please pray with us that all of the cancer is fully contained in the tumor and has not spread. She is in decent health, but the thought of chemo and radiation for an 85-year-old is a lot to bear. We are praying that they can remove all of the cancer and that she won't have to go through the chemo and radiation that she would have to undergo if it has spread. We do thank God, though, that we live in Houston, Texas, where M.D. Anderson Cancer Center is located and IF she needs to go through further treatment, not only do we not have to travel, but she has a daughter and grandson that both work there, as well. Please pray with us that her cancer has not spread beyond the tumor.
